Sub: application for the university job
Dear Mr. William
I am writing this letter to apply for the post of Library Clerk with reference to the vacancy notification published in the employment newspaper dated 4th September 2012.
I have the required skills to efficiently handle the day to day responsibilities of the job. I have completed my graduation in accountancy from JVC College of Economics with over seventy per cent marks in the year 2003.I have over seven years of on job experience as assistant clerk with the Prince University. I have a good experience of performing various clerical duties like writing university’s notice and checking academic fee structure. I have the skills to update central library database management system on weekly basis.
I am herewith enclosing my latest resume for your reference. If you think me suitable for this job according to my qualification and experience please let me know when I can appear for the interview. If any other information is needed from my side then please let me know. I will wait for a positive reply from your end.
