I am writing this letter with reference to your advertisement in The Times dated 9th September 20XX .I would like to submit my application for the post of Research Biologist in your organization. I have also enclosed my resume with this letter.
I have completed my bachelors in biotechnology from SPM Biotechnology Institute in the year 20XX with excellent grades .Further I have completed my masters in biotechnology in the year 20XX from RMN Biological Research University. I am hard working and have the patience to carry on the research for years and I think these qualities are very important to excel in this area. I did my doctorate from London University. Presently I am involved in the research of human stem cells and its application to cure some deadly diseases in human. I have excellent knowledge about biotechnology and its related field of application.
An interview will help a lot to express my skill and quality in front of you. I would also like to thank you for your precious time to consider my application.
