英語單詞footing的講解

　　Footing is spelled f-o-o-t-i-n-g, footing. Footing 是基礎(chǔ)，立足點(diǎn)的意思。比如，on an equal footing，就是指“在平等的基礎(chǔ)上”。

　　埃及舉行首次民主選舉，不過有人認(rèn)為，The authorities need to do more to ensure that women can contribute to the ongoing political reform on an equal footing with men .
